Kid Cudi is cleaning out his closet and giving fans an opportunity to own rare items from his personal collection including sneakers and apparel.
Dubbed Cudder’s Collection, the closet sale launched Friday and uses an auction format with prices for each item beginning at $100.
“No stylists, no shopper. Collection of hand picked pieces by Cudi from his closet, from all around the world,” reads a description on the Cudder’s Collection website.
Highlights from the multi-hyphenate artist’s personal collection include vintage T-shirts, designer clothing from brands such as Balenciaga, Celine, ERL, Gucci, Loewe, Moncler and Vetements and of course, a number of shoes.
Footwear featured in the sale includes A Bathing Ape Bape Stas, Pharrell Williams x Adidas Hu NMDs, Adidas Lxcons, Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Lows, Matthew M. Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 004s and the Daniel Moon x Reebok CL Legacy.
Thus far, only the all-white Bape Stas are listed as sold, although the site doesn’t show any bid history, so it’s possible the auction for the shoes was erroneously ended prematurely. The other five shoes in the collection all have active bids, and the Matthew M. Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4 are projected to sell for the most with an estimated final price between $800 and $1,200.
The priciest current bid belongs to the Pharrell Williams x Adidas Hu NMD, which in four bids has already reached its high-end estimate of $600. As of publishing, the second-highest priced item is $400 for the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Lows, which are projected to sell for as high as $500.
Beyond the items available now, it appears there may be plans to add more products in the future. The e-commerce store has a sign-up section where fans can “receive special offers and first look at new products.”
Celebrities selling their pre-loved garments has been a rising trend in recent years. In 2019, the Kardashian-Jenner family launched the Kardashian Kloset platform. And in 2022, Pharrell Williams introduced Joopiter, an auction site which has included items from his own collection as well as rare products sourced from consignors.
All of the Cudder’s Collection auctions will end Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET. Readers can see the sneakers below and browse the full selection at cudderscollection.com.
