Brazilian children’s footwear brand Bibi has partnered with State of Kid, a Miami-based boutique and activity space, for its retail debut in the United States.
Based in Miami’s Design District in Florida, State of Kid is offering kids’ clothing for a wide range of international brands while providing flexible enrichment classes, including music, dance, and art, for children up to age eight.
As Miami remains an influential city on the US East Coast and throughout Latin America, it was the ideal choice for Bibi to make its US launch. Both two companies align on several aspects, including value proposition, specialized product offering, and traditional brand values, making it a natural fit.
The partnership between Bibi and the State of Kid kicked off with an exclusive event introducing Bibi to Miami’s local community on January 25. Alana Oxfeld, the owner of State of Kid, invited 25 influential mothers and loyal customers of the store to experience the brand firsthand. The event showcased Bibi’s playful, creative spirit and marked the start of its global expansion strategy.
“State of Kid organizes workshops and events that enhance the shopping experience for visitors through engaging and memorable activities,” said Camila Kohlrausch, Bibi’s brand and retail director, in a statement. “This approach aligns perfectly with our mission. With this expansion, we bring essential concepts from the Brazilian children’s fashion and lifestyle industry to the heart of one of the world’s most sophisticated markets.”
“As a brand, we remain committed to providing unique experiences and winning over families in different countries, always delivering the best of Brazil.” Bibi’s ‘Made in Brazil’ collection, available in sizes up to 32, highlights its signature designs, with the Roller line offering versatile sneakers and sandals, while the Roller Celebration collection features light-up shoes with dazzling designs, creating a fun and interactive experience for children.
In addition to being available in both State of Kid locations in Miami, Bibi’s products will also be sold through the brand’s website.
