Zara Tindall turns heads in laser-cut midi dress in Saudi Arabia

Zara Tindall was the epitome of race day chic on Saturday, 14 February, as she stepped out solo to attend the Saudi Cup in Saudi Arabia, just days after her cousin, Prince William‘s, state visit to the country.

The 44-year-old daughter of Princess Anne made an appearance in her capacity as patron of Retraining of Racehorses, the British horseracing charity that champions the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. Posing alongside the organisation’s managing director, David Catlow, Zara stunned in a floral midi dress.

The dress, which was identified by Royal British Fashion on Instagram, was the ‘Floral Eyelet’ style from Zimmermann. The garment, which Zara debuted in 2022 during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, featured laser-cut detailing on the skirt and puffed sleeves, as well as a tie waist for an extra cinched look and a girly scalloped hem.

She teamed the crew neck dress with a glorious pomegranate-hued hat, the ‘Grenadine’ style from Camilla Rose Millinery, as well as Hector Lion’s ‘Large Rose Quartz Earrings’, which were new to her collection.

Adding the finishing touches to her look were a pair of cream suede heels by Emmy London that allowed her printed dress to do the talking, and extra pizzazz came in the form of a metallic clutch bag – the ‘Lottie’ from Aspinal of London, to be specific.

Zara was dressed perfectly for the Saudi sun on Saturday, but shortly before her trip, she proved her style credentials when it comes to dressing for the British winter.

On 24 January, the royal braved the wind at Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham Racecourse. The former Olympic equestrian centred her outfit around the ‘Finchley Coat in Indigo Herringbone Wool’ by The Fold.

Upping the ante, Zara accessorised her understated outerwear with a black faux fur detachable collar by Helen Moore, as well as the brand’s ‘Wrist Warmer Cuffs’ for extra glamour. The royal, who was styled by Annie Miall, also donned Aspinal of London’s ‘Lottie Bag in Navy Quilted Kaviar’ and Fairfax & Favor’s ‘Fitzrovia’ black suede boots.

Her teal Camilla Rose headband added a pop of colour. Zara transformed her plain coat by adding the faux fur adornments, serving as a nod to one of 2026’s fastest-growing trends: ‘loud luxury’.
