ROCK SOLID: The momentum is building at diamond jeweler Jessica McCormack, which posted a 60 percent uptick in sales last year, and is planning a Rodeo Drive flagship in 2027. The Rodeo Drive store will follow a South Coast Plaza opening later this year.
The Rodeo Drive store will be located at 437 North Rodeo Drive, with interiors resembling McCormack’s London town houses, which are set up like art-filled homes. Neighbors on the Beverly Hills street include Hermès, Burberry and other top jewelry houses.
“Rodeo Drive felt like a natural next step. We have a great client base in the West Coast that really resonates with our ‘day diamond’ philosophy. This store will allow them to enjoy the full, immersive brand experience,” said Leonie Brantberg, the brand’s chief executive officer.
McCormack said the Rodeo Drive store will have an intimate setting similar to the Jessica McCormack townhouses in London, “where our clients can feel comfortable and relaxed as they discover our jewelry. It was important to us to create that sense of ease, as our signature style is about bringing luxury to life and making the everyday exceptional.”
South Coast Plaza, Jessica McCormack’s first store on the West Coast, spans 1,600 square feet and will open in August. The brand’s first U.S. store opened in May last year at 743 Madison Avenue in New York City, also with the town house concept.
The growth is coming from those stores and from icon collections, such as the Ball & Chain necklace, Gypset earrings and signature Button Back styles, as well as new collections such as Orbit, which launched earlier in March.
Jessica McCormack, which has been positioning itself as an alternative to heritage, big-name jewelry houses such as Tiffany & Co. and Cartier, and independent art jewelers such as JAR, said it continues to champion “day diamonds,” or fine jewelry designed to be worn every day.
In 2024 the jeweler welcomed investment from Lingotto Horizon, which is owned by the Agnelli family’s Exor holding. In its 2025 annual report, released earlier this week, Exor highlighted Jessica McCormack as one of the fastest-growing luxury assets in its portfolio.
