While a fierce heatwave swept through Paris this week, Pomellato brought its own spectacular kind of ice to the French capital. The Milanese jewelry house chose the City of Light to debut its latest high jewellery collection, Stile Libero—a vibrant homage to unbridled creativity and artistic freedom.
This freewheeling ethos is woven deeply into Pomellato’s DNA. Ever since Pino Rabolini established the brand in 1967, the jeweler has championed a signature look defined by convention-shattering silhouettes, sumptuous gold chains, and strikingly colorful gemstones.
Reflecting on the launch, CEO Sabina Belli noted that Stile Libero captures the quintessential free spirit of the house. She described the jewels as boundary-pushing creations that seamlessly blend diverse worlds, crafted specifically for modern women who boldly author their own authentic style.
Translating to ‘free style,’ the 65-piece collection draws heavy inspiration from the eclectic energy of 1960s Milan—an era when Rabolini and his peers famously dismantled the rigid style dogmas of the time. To channel this rebellious elegance, Creative Director Vincenzo Castaldo utilized a rich tapestry of vibrant stones, innovative artistic techniques, and varied materials.
“Pomellato Stile Libero is a mindset—the freedom to reject cages without insisting on a single, linear narrative,” notes Creative Director Vincenzo Castaldo. He describes his designs as the art of moving instinctively, blending masterful skill with a fearless, refined, and quietly provocative creativity.
Unfolding across three distinct chapters, the collection represents the absolute zenith of Pomellato’s artisanal prowess:
In the Visionary Colours chapter, lush, vibrantly hued gemstones take center stage. Kaleidoscopic pieces sweep from cool aquatic blues and greens to fiery pinks, culminating in brilliant rainbow gradients of tourmalines, sapphires, tsavorites, and spinels.
The Magnetic Gold chapter honors the house’s ancestral expertise—a nod to founder Pino Rabolini’s illustrious lineage of master goldsmiths. This section elevates Pomellato’s iconic chain work through fluid, diamond-dusted link necklaces, statement rings, and opulent rose-gold iterations of the signature Gourmette chain.
Finally, the Hypnotic Shadows chapter showcases the sheer technical audacity of openwork. Intricate hand-piercing transforms rigid metal into dazzling cuffs, rings, and earrings that feel as weightless and delicate as spun lace.
Together, the collection is a masterclass in the beauty of unbridled design. Yet, Stile Libero isn’t the house’s only recent triumph. Pomellato has also debuted its first-ever Parisian exhibition, Pomellato, Le Joaillier Révolutionnaire. Curated by Alba Cappellieri, Head of Jewelry Design at Politecnico di Milano, the showcase traces the brand’s creative revolutions, pairing archival milestones with iconic campaigns shot by photography legends like Helmut Newton, Horst P. Horst, and Gian Paolo Barbieri.
The exhibition is open to the public at the Palais de Tokyo through July 20, 2026, with complimentary entry upon reservation.
