The Fall 2025 Christian Dior campaign draws inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s gender-fluid protagonist Orlando. The branded storytelling unfolds in the historic Hatfield House, where models traverse symbolic portals that blur temporal and spatial boundaries. This conceptual framework allows the collection to simultaneously reference Dior’s rich heritage while pushing contemporary design forward, particularly through innovative updates to classic silhouettes. Crinolines appear in abbreviated, movement-friendly versions, for example. Structured outerwear, on the other hand, incorporates unexpected materials like technical fabrics and embroidered horsehair alongside traditional velvet. The campaign also thoughtfully reinterprets house signatures — from Gianfranco Ferré’s voluminous ruffled shirts to John Galliano’s iconic J’adore Dior tee.
