Brazilian luxury fashion house PatBo has partnered with Ron Zacapa, the award-winning Guatemalan rum famously aged above the clouds for a limited-edition collaboration celebrating the rum’s milestone 50th anniversary.
This deal marks the third chapter of Zacapa’s partnership with creative talent (the first two were Agua by Agua Bendita and Luar) through the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS). The PatBo x Zacapa Anniversary Kit blends fashion, heritage and luxury spirits in a tribute to Latin America’s creative legacy.
Patricia Bonaldi, founder and creative director of PatBo, is known for her textile-forward designs defined by intricate hand embroidery and artisan-made craft. Her brand is built in close collaboration with female artisans in Brazil, including through Costurando Sonhos — Bonaldi’s initiative and school that teaches embroidery, sewing and beading to expand creative and economic opportunity.
This approach is closely aligned with Zacapa‘s decades-long support of Guatemalan women, who handcraft the signature Petate bands adorning each bottle of Zacapa No. 23. Today, Zacapa supports over 1,000 female artisans across Guatemala who continue this tradition.
At the heart of the collaboration is The Modern Corte, a print created exclusively for the partnership and applied across each piece in the kit, from wearable accessories to tabletop objects. Inspired by the traditional Guatemalan textile worn as a wrap or a skirt, and reimagined through PatBo’s vibrant Brazilian lens, the design interprets ancestral motifs — palms, florals, geometric weaves, mariposa and estrellas — into a contemporary design. Each piece is inspired by the print.

The PatBo x Zacapa Anniversary Kit is offered in three-tiered configurations. There’s a full five-piece set including the silk corte scarf, hand-painted glassware, custom playing cards, a pocket square, and a bottle of Zacapa XO. There is also a four-piece set featuring the silk corte scarf, custom playing cards, a pocket square, and a decorative book box. A three-piece set includes the silk corte scarf, custom playing cards, and book box.
“When I learned about the Petate weave and the hands behind it, I felt an immediate connection,” said Bonaldi. “I wanted to translate that sense of texture, movement and tradition into pieces that feel expressive and versatile, objects you can wear, style, and use when you’re gathering with others. It became about creating something joyful and alive.”

Anne Nosko, vice president of rum, Diageo North America, added, “As we celebrate 50 Years Above the Clouds, we wanted to make this moment in a way that feels fresh while staying true to who we are. PatBo brings a distinctive textile perspective that allows us to express our heritage visually, not just through the liquid, but through design, as well as our shared values and the way we honor the communities who have inspired and contributed to our respective identities. It’s a way of inviting people to experience Zacapa in a more immersive and creative way.”
The PatBo x Zacapa Anniversary Kit is available in limited quantities, exclusively through retail partners, The Bar.com and Revolve, beginning Wednesday. The full collection is $275, the four-piece collection is $100, and the three-piece collection is $75.
As reported, at the 2025 Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS) Gala in Miami last November, Ron Zacapa honored Bonaldi as Visionary of the Year. The recognition was part of Zacapa’s continued partnership with LAFS, celebrating leaders shaping Latin American design.
