Loeffler Randall has opened its largest retail location on Friday, choosing Nashville’s 12 South neighborhood as the home of its new 2,300-square-foot store. The store carries the full range of the brand’s collections, including footwear, apparel and handbags, with an assortment tailored specifically toward the Nashville market.
Known for its independent boutiques and walkable streets, 12 South has become one of the city’s busiest retail corridors, drawing both residents and visitors looking to shop and dine locally.
“Retail site scouting is part art, part science. We have a strong Southeastern business, and we love Nashville’s combination of entertainment, tourism and universities meeting fast growth and development. The 12 South neighborhood is known as one of the city’s premier shopping destinations, so it felt like a fitting location for us to open our Nashville store,” Brian Murphy, cofounder and chief executive officer of Loeffler Randall, told WWD.

According to Loeffler Randall, its e-commerce sales from the region have been strong, suggesting an existing customer base ready to engage in-store.
“We think we have a unique value proposition and excel in physical locations. It’s a dramatic, theatrical space for a city that does live entertainment better than most. The brand’s established e-commerce success in Nashville, along with the city’s rapid population and economic growth, made it an ideal and timely market for us to enter,” Murphy said.
The opening continues with the brand’s broader retail expansion plan, which aims to strengthen ties with its existing customer base and introduce itself to new audiences in-person.

The Nashville launch also arrives during a period of steady category diversification for the New York-based label. Earlier this year, Loeffler Randall introduced LR Sport, active-inspired pieces built on the brand’s design sensibility.
“Although shoes have always been my first love, and shoes still make up our biggest category, Brian and I have always seen LR as a lifestyle brand. I want to make sure we have the perfect product for each occasion and need our customer has. I loved adding our sport collection because I [and our customers] wear sneakers a lot of the time for comfort but we want them to be fashionable,” said Jessie Randall, cofounder and CEO of Loeffler Randall.
The LR Sport collection was followed by a swimwear collaboration with Left On Friday in the summer. “I see capsules and collabs fitting into our long-term brand vision allowing us to expand naturally into areas that align with LR’s identity and values. We will continue to do collabs because I love that energy and creativity that can be had when collaborating with brands I personally love. Most recently, we collaborated with one of my favorite swimwear brands which was so much fun,” Randall said.

The expansion into the South also reflects a larger movement among luxury and contemporary fashion labels, many of which are moving beyond traditional cities like New York and Los Angeles to tap into rising markets across the country.
Loeffler Randall’s Nashville store is located at 2510 12th Avenue South and open every day of the week.
