In a new promotional video, Kylie Jenner opens in an oversized fur ensemble, with the announcement, “My brand new KHY collection launches tomorrow.” The upcoming line is called “KHY After Dark” and draws on the nights of Los Angeles. Jenner also fondly calls it the city where she grew up, before summing up the mood of her collection as “fab,” “chic,” and “cozy.”
She then moves through the collection. First comes her favorite fur jacket, the Roxy. Next is a leather zip-up inspired by vintage 90s jackets. A light pink zip-up sweater with a fur-lined hood follows.
The figure-hugging dress is saved for last. Jenner describes it as a sweater dress with “beautiful faux fur sleeves for the holidays.” She adds, “I love this dress so much.”
The design is simple up top. It is black, long-sleeved, and cut close to the body, with a round neckline. The knit hugs her curves and follows along her torso and hips. In the video, the fabric also appears slightly sheer through the bodice.
The fur cuffs are the focal point. They are plush, oversized, and black, framing her hands dramatically. The contrast between the sleek knit and the voluminous trim gives the dress its character.
Jenner keeps the rest of the look understated. Her long dark hair falls loose in soft waves. Her lips are a neutral, glossy shade, and her brows are neatly defined. She wears small stud earrings and deep-toned nails.
Faux fur has been a recurring theme for KHY, with most pieces in her upcoming collection incorporating it in their design. The new dress also carries that idea into the holiday season in a smaller, more fitted form.
