The Association of Tennis Professionals continued to show off the style of its Athlete Arrivals at its National Bank Tournament in Montreal. The tournament kicked off on Aug. 1 and runs through Thursday.
Among the players who took part in the fashion showcase are Jakub Mensik, Luciano Darderi, Gabriel Diallo, Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Zizou Bergs.
Mensik wore baggy Levi’s jeans with a shirt, jacket and shoes by Adidas; Darderi wore Emporio Armani; Diallo and Berg were decked out in Golden Goose, and Etcheverry was photographed in Rochas.
Athlete arrivals have become a staple of sports culture, with leagues increasingly using them as a way to showcase their players’ personalities off the field. It started with the NBA, but the NFL and MLB have since followed suit. And with the dress code becoming a thing of the past, the NHL is also becoming part of the conversation.
The ATP, the global governing body of men’s professional tennis, introduced its Athlete Arrivals series in Indian Wells, Calif., in March, followed by events in Miami and Madrid.
