Today, Reebok, the iconic and irreverent sports culture brand, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson are reuniting to bring back one of the most culture defining sneakers of the early 2000s. The Reebok x G-Unit G6 returns, reviving the original silhouette that helped bridge basketball-inspired footwear, hip-hop and street culture. Launching in its original red, white and blue colorway from the Reebok archive, the G-Unit G6 will be available for £110.00 MSRP on August 20, 2026, 10 AM ET on Reebok.com and at select retailers.
Originally introduced in 2003, the G-Unit G6 became one of the defining sneakers of its era. Released during Jackson’s rise following Get Rich or Die Tryin’, the partnership made him one of the first musicians to lead a major footwear franchise, helping redefine the relationship between music, fashion and sneakers. The model quickly became a staple of the early-2000s, selling tens of thousands of pairs across multiple colorways and becoming synonymous with the G-Unit movement.
More than two decades later, the return of the G6 reconnects a new generation with a sneaker that helped shape an era. Its influence extends beyond nostalgia, reflecting the timeless drive to create, build and shape culture that continues to inspire today.
“The G-Unit sneaker represents a special time in my career and in hip-hop. What we created with Reebok had a real impact on sneaker culture, and it’s incredible to see that influence still resonate more than 20 years later. I’m excited to bring it back for the people who were there the first time and a whole new generation.” Said Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
“Our relationship with 50 has always gone beyond sneakers,” said Todd Krinsky, CEO of Reebok. “He helped define an important chapter in Reebok’s history, and together we created something that had a lasting impact on sport style and culture. Bringing the G-Unit G6 back is an opportunity to celebrate that legacy while introducing it to a new generation.”
The Reebok x G-Unit G6 ($130.00 MSRP): Featuring a premium white leather and suede upper, a durable rubber midsole and an icy rubber outsole. The sneaker returns in its original 2003 red, white and blue colorway and will be offered in unisex sizing from 3.5 to 13, and size 14.
The Reebok x G-Unit G6 launches August 20, 2026, at 10 AM ET on Reebok.com and at select retailers worldwide later this Autumn.
