During Paris Fashion Week, Reebok partners with Slam Jam and FEU Magazine to present MOSH, an immersive installation and cultural program celebrating the subversive energy born from UK underground rave culture of the 1980s and 1990s, and its enduring influence on music, fashion, and collective movement.

Rave culture arises from a lineage of resistance to systems widely perceived as oppressive. Moving one’s body with no purpose other than expressing emotion and circulating energy is, in itself, a subversive gesture: an emancipation from the productivist matrix that structures our society.
By the late 1970s, Reebok Classics had emerged as a key artifact of identification for hundreds of ravers, who adopted the brand precisely because it was not designed for spectacle, but for movement. Over time, these silhouettes embedded themselves within underground scenes, transcending trends to become cultural constants worn across generations.

MOSH pays homage to this legacy through a cultural phenomenon and emblem of subversion: the mosh pit. A radical choreographic gesture in which participants collide frenetically with one another, it embodies the clash between the working class and the system itself. Emerging from the abrasive punk scene of the late 1970s, mosh pit travelled across genres, scenes, and demographics: from hard rock to dubstep, rap, and trap. For Reebok, it is a guiding thread to explore the evolution of party and music scenes.
To co-curate and animate this space, Reebok invited FEU Magazine, a Paris-based cultural and creative platform that documents contemporary creation and explores the processes of hybridization shaping cultural and artistic innovation in our interconnected world.
True to its motto, “Born Classic. Worn for Life,” Reebok celebrates, through this project, its cultural heritage and the people who continue to foster it to this day.
