As Vogue Spain’s head of editorial content, Inés Lorenzo tends to switch it up between endorsing both international and homegrown talent as cover stars. International names like Kaia Gerber, Lila Moss, and Anya Taylor-Joy have graced the Spanish fashion bible over recent months, while Lorenzo championed the Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó for May. Fast forward to the July 2025 cover, and appearing on Vogue Spain this month is Aitana. The Spanish songstress, who is “one of the most relevant voices in Spanish pop”, poses for the photographer Pablo Saez. Making her Vogue Spain cover debut, Aitana is dressed by cover shoot stylist Alba Melendo in a dress from the Fendi Fall 2025 collection (that commemorated 100 years of the iconic Italian fashion house).

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Love the cover! About time they gave Aitana one,” immediately praised Blizzard8358.
“I like the colors! Feels very serene,” BalkaniStaCouture admired.
“I like the colors and that’s about it,” reasoned vogue28. “Harper’s Bazaar Spain profiled Aitana better way last year, and this just fails in comparison. There’s no sense of life, no joy, zero energy – it’s all just so flat and underwhelming.”
Bertrando3 wasn’t best impressed either. “Such a bad cover. From this awful 80s dress to her expression to the background to the shoes, and the absence of a layout doesn’t help. The cover doesn’t feel festive at all. Not a cover worthy picture. The pose isn’t flattering either. A smile would have lifted things,” they voiced in frustration.
