The 81st Golden Globes proved to be a rather refined event on the red carpet. Here, the jewelry was mostly subdued with some stars, such as Natalie Portman, keeping it ultra-minimal and only opting for dainty earrings. However, other celebrities made sure to stand out with bolder fashion choices. One of our favorite trends was seeing the number of men up the ante on the bling and continuing to blur the lines of gendered accessories. Here are a slew of the celebs who stole the show when it comes to jewelry looks we’d like to see more of in 2024.
Brie Larson in Kwiat and Fred Leighton
This year, Brie Larson hoped to add a second Golden Globe award to her roster following her win in 2016 for her performance in Room. Up against Ali Wong for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made For Television, she ultimately didn’t take home the gold (pun intended), but she did shine on the red carpet wearing the Kwiat Ashoka Diamond Riviere necklace in platinum, with approximately 38 carats of Ashoka diamonds; the Kwiat 3-carat round brilliant cut diamond stud earrings in platinum; and the Fred Leighton 19th Century oval amethyst and diamond ring.
Elizabeth Olsen in Reza
Elizabeth Olsen scored her second Golden Globe nomination this year, receiving her first in 2022 for her role in Wanda Vision. She joined Brie Larson and Ali Wong in the Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film category thanks to her performance in Love & Death. While she’s still yet to land her first Golden Globe win, she stunned in an all-white look on the red carpet wearing Reza’s Twins Earrings in white gold with diamonds and “A” Ring in white gold with a pear-cut diamond.
Timothée Chalamet in Cartier
Timothée Chalamet is a double threat: a wildly talented actor and a style icon all before the age of 30. Yet, the three-time Golden Globe nominee has yet to land his first win. Still, he undoubtedly brought his fashion game to the red carpet as a Cartier ambassador. For the 2024 Golden Globes, he paired a unique all-black suit with an 18-karat white gold, black ceramic, and diamond Cartier Collection necklace from 2013.
Ariana Greenblatt in Chopard
Ariana Greenblatt is one to watch after her breakout role in the highest grossing film of 2023, Barbie. The Golden Globe nominations for the film mark her first major award nominations but surely won’t be her last. In fitting with the jewelry trends we saw from the Barbie cast throughout the film’s premiere and promotion, Greenblatt sported an array of diamond necklaces and rings from Chopard on the red carpet at her first Golden Globes.
Gillian Anderson in Chopard
Gillian Anderson is no stranger to the Golden Globes. Of course, she notched several nominations and a win for her famed performance in the X-Files back in the 90s, and just three years ago she took home another win for Best Supporting Actress in The Crown. For the 81st Golden Globes, the Sex Education star took to the red carpet in a statement-making strapless gown accessorized with jewelry from Chopard. Her bling included an 18-karat white gold necklace featuring a 10.06-carat pear-shaped yellow diamond and 29.88-carats of diamonds, two-tone earrings in 18-karat white and yellow Fairmined-certified gold featuring four pear-shaped yellow diamonds totaling 15.23-carats and a pair of white diamonds totaling 0.50-carats, as well as a bracelet in 18-karat white gold featuring 13.20-carats of diamonds, all from the Haute Joaillerie Collection. She topped off the look with a ring in 18-karat yellow gold set with diamonds from the Ice Cube Collection.
Jon Batiste in Tiffany & Co.
Jon Batiste scored his first Golden Globe nomination and win back in 2020 for Soul. This year, he skirted the pressure of a nomination and got to enjoy the ceremony as a presenter of the award for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture to Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell alongside Andra Day. Batiste was among several men on the red carpet proudly boasting bold jewelry looks, a trend we hope to see more of in 2024. He opted for some statement pieces from Tiffany & Co. including a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany starfish brooch, Tiffany HardWear necklace and bracelets, and Tiffany Lock bangle and ring.
Helen Mirren in Harry Winston
Harry Winston and Helen Mirren—can you name a more iconic pair? The 17-time nominated and three-time winning Golden Globe veteran has donned the famed American jeweler on the red carpet a number of times over the years. For the 81st Golden Globes, she opted for the Wreath Diamond Necklace, featuring approximately 48.39 carats, set in platinum and the Cluster Diamond Earrings, featuring approximately 16.04 carats, set in platinum to complete her look for the evening.

Jared Leto in Cartier
Jared Leto is another multi-dimensional entertainer who’s equal parts talent and style. To date, he’s notched two Golden Globe nominations and one win, but this year, he served as a presenter for Best Supporting Actress and Actor in a Motion Picture alongside Angela Bassett. Leto is known for his avantgarde and androgynous approach to fashion, but for the 81st Golden Globes, his look was surprisingly subdued. He paired simple black and white suiting with a Panthère de Cartier necklace in 18-karat white gold and black lacquer with emeralds and diamonds.
Jennifer Lopez in Boucheron
While Jennifer Lopez is often a fan of Harry Winston, she switched things up for the 2024 Golden Globes with jewelry from Maison Boucheron as she hit the red carpet with Ben Affleck. The A-list star decked herself with the Hopi collection, including the hummingbird pendant earrings set with a morganite, paved with sapphires and diamonds, in white gold; the hummingbird ring set with a morganite, paved with sapphires and diamonds, in white gold and pink gold; and the Plume de Paon bracelet, set with a rose-cut diamond, paved with diamonds, on white gold. The combination was the perfect complement to her ultra-feminine pink mermaid dress with rosette detailing.

Jordana Brewster was one of the first celebrities to kick off the 81st annual Golden Globes red carpet. She paired a contemporary, all-black two-piece ensemble with just the right amount of sparkle from Rahaminov Diamonds. Simu Liu joined his Barbie castmates at this year’s Golden Globes in the wake of the film’s countless nominations. He also took the stage with co-star Issa Rae to present the award for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Made for TV Movie to Beef. Although Liu is newer to the scene, he showed us his style is on trend with a dapper look on the red carpet. Here, her sported a classic tux complete with an Assael diamond and Tahitian pearl jabot pin.
Reese Witherspoon in Tiffany & Co.
Over the years, Reese Witherspoon has received nearly a dozen Golden Globe nominations and notched two wins. For the 81st Golden Globes, she joined the cast of The Morning Show, which was up for Best Television Series (Drama). She wore a gorgeous archival diamond necklace and bracelet along with platinum and diamond earrings and rings.
Naomi Watts in Harry Winston
While Naomi Watts is often a fan of Bulgari, for the 2024 Golden Globes she decided to swap the illustrious Italian designer for Harry Winston. Watts was all sparkle on the arm of her husband, Billy Crudup, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for his work on The Morning Show. Her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film joined a slew of blockbusters in the category honoring the year’s films for cinematic and box office achievement. While she didn’t take home the win for the film, she might just take home the win for most bling on the red carpet. Swift rocked a dozen pieces from De Beers to complete her look for the evening. Some standouts included the De Beers Arpeggia Three Line Diamond Earrings set in 18-karat white gold, totaling 9.09 carats and the OBS Pear-Shaped Diamond Ring set in platinum, totaling 5.45 carats.
