Eastside Golf is partnering with Mitchell & Ness on an apparel collection that will bring a basketball-style aesthetic to the golf course.
The collaboration that launches on Thursday, includes a polo shirt, pullover nylon jacket, shooting shirt, T-shirts, tank tops, mesh and nylon shorts, driver head covers and co-branded ball markers.
The collection was designed by Eastside Golf’s cofounder and creative director, Olajuwon Ajanaku, and the Eastside Golf creative team.
“Basketball has always been a huge part of my life from the very beginning; I was born in Houston, named after Hakeem Olajuwon, and have been a fan of the sport forever,” Ajanaku said. “Our mission at Eastside Golf is to use fashion to change the cultural conversation around the game and introduce golf to new audiences. The collection, which is priced from $25 to $200, will be available beginning Thursday online at both companies’ e-commerce sites as well as select retailers.
