Sofia Vergara’s Body-Hugging Elie Saab Gown Puts Her Curves Front & Center

For the gala, Sofia Vergara’s curves took center stage in a body-hugging gown by Elie Saab. The floor-length creation followed her figure from top to bottom, with a fitted silhouette that flared subtly toward the hem and extended into a delicate train.

The gown featured a nude illusion base almost completely covered in shimmering embellishments. Intricate silver detailing ran throughout the design, while winding green accents and oversized lavender flowers brought a colorful, garden-inspired element to the look. One particularly large purple bloom decorated the lower half of the gown.

Up top, the Elie Saab gown took an asymmetrical approach. One shoulder was left bare while the other was covered in layers of three-dimensional lavender floral appliqués. The dramatic embellishments cascaded around her shoulder, contrasting with the ultra-fitted shape of the rest of the dress. Vergara wore her long brunette hair loose in voluminous waves, keeping the overall look classic. She completed her glam with defined eyes, rosy cheeks and a soft pink lip.

The actress offered fans multiple angles of the dress on social media, including a mirror video that highlighted its fit from the side. Another photo captured her smiling while stepping into a black SUV, with the gown’s long embellished train spread out behind her. Vergara also posed at home alongside members of her team, and her tiny dog even made an appearance.

For the Academy Museum Gala appearance, the combination of intricate detailing, shimmering embellishments and a figure-hugging silhouette ensured her look stood out.
