London, September 2026 the season is shifting. Summer has had its run; the sun is cooling, the leaves are turning orange, and London is settling into the quieter mood it reserves for the back end of the year. Autumn is here. And with it comes a new collection from Wax London.
For Autumn ’26, Wax London presents An Ode to London, a collection rooted in the city the brand has called home from the beginning. Its most ambitious autumn collection to date, the season has been split into two drops, with Drop One marking the beginning of a new chapter for the London-born label.
At the heart of the first drop is the Whiting Overshirt – a Wax London staple reworked for the season ahead. Built around the brand’s signature approach to fabric, texture and considered construction, Whiting brings the versatility of an overshirt together with the weight and character needed for autumn dressing.
The Whiting
The Whiting is designed to sit somewhere between shirt and jacket – an easy, everyday layer that can be worn now and carried through the colder months. As with Wax London’s wider approach to shirting, the emphasis is on fabric with a point of difference and construction designed to reward repeated wear. The result is a piece that feels distinctly of the brand: familiar, functional and made to become part of a wardrobe rather than simply a season.

An Ode to London
To launch Drop One, Wax London presents its hero campaign, An Ode to London. Inspired by William Wordsworth’s Composed upon Westminster Bridge, the famous love letter to London written in 1802, the campaign looks at the city through a contemporary lens, finding beauty in the places, people and details that make London what it is.Voiced over the film and set against city skylines, hidden corners and the spots locals know best, the campaign is Wax London’s own tribute to the city it calls home.It is a celebration of London beyond the postcard: its streets in the early morning, its familiar landmarks, its unexpected details and the everyday places that become part of the rhythm of living here. The campaign was made by a crew who know and love the city as much as the brand does. An Ode to London is ultimately a love letter to both the city and the clothes that belong in it – pieces designed to.
