Under Armour continues to step out of the box with its choice of ambassadors.
The Baltimore-based sports brand, which recently parted ways with longtime partners Stephen Curry and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has named Grammy-nominated rapper Gunna a global brand ambassador and creative director of P-Star.
P-Star is a new iteration of Gunna’s lifestyle apparel brand, P by Gunna, which launched in 2024. Its logo is the letter “P” with a star in the middle, and is frequently referred to as the P Star logo, intended to represent high standards and discipline.

For Under Armour, P-Star is described as a “multidimensional creative platform spanning apparel, footwear, community initiatives and cultural storytelling.” It was created earlier this year in partnership with the artist, who is also an avid runner and philanthropist. They have been working together for the past year and he appeared in Under Armour’s “We Are Football” campaign as well as its Bouncy Tee campaign alongside country star Parker McCollum.
The launch of P-Star marks Gunna’s entry into the performance apparel and footwear space and is intended to showcase what he wears to train and in the gym.

“Gunna’s story is one of resilience, discipline and growth,” said Kevin Plank, founder and chief executive officer of Under Armour. “His commitment to discipline, creativity, wellness and community extends far beyond music. He’s challenged himself to become his best version, and in the process, inspired thousands to do the same. Through his commitment to fitness, his run clubs and the community he’s built around movement and mental strength, he’s expanded what performance can look like. That’s exactly the kind of talent we believe in at Under Armour and why this next chapter feels like a natural evolution in our relationship.”
Over the past two years Gunna has trained nearly every day and built the Wunna Run run club that now brings thousands of people together in cities around the world, Under Armour said.
“P-Star is really an extension of how I live — always evolving, staying disciplined and pushing myself in every area of my life,” Gunna said. “Under Armour understands that vision and has given me the space to build something that brings together style, performance and community. For me, it’s about moving forward, creating something meaningful and building something that can continue to grow.”
On Thursday, Under Armour will debut a 14-piece apparel and footwear collection under the P-Star name. It features heavyweight T-shirts, shorts, sweats and American football-inspired HeatGear styles, each sporting an embellished P-Star logo.

P-Star also features women’s pieces.

As part of the launch, there will also be a new sneaker, UA Scorpio, which marks Gunna’s first official footwear collaboration with Under Armour. Debuting in an exclusive “Gunna” gray/black colorway, the shoe will be available exclusively at A Ma Maniére Atlanta before a wider release in early 2027. While the sneaker will only be available in Atlanta at launch, the apparel will be sold at the boutique as well as on the Under Armour site.
Also planned for early 2027, the two will release a dedicated Wunna Run capsule collection followed by P-Star Lux, an elevated apparel offering later in the year.
In addition to the commercial partnership, Under Armour supports Gunna’s Great Giveaway foundation, the artist’s nonprofit organization that provides food, clothing, school supplies and financial assistance to families across Georgia in partnership with local community and business organizations.
