When I walked into the One Night Only press screening in London on Monday night, I was there for one reason: Callum Turner. My obsession with the actor began when I saw him in The Capture (a great series by the way) almost seven years ago, so I wasn’t expecting to be completely distracted by his lead co-star.
With an impressive resume that includes Top Gun: Maverick and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown – not to mention her current role alongside Bradley Cooper in the new Ocean’s 11 prequel – Monica Barbaro is hardly new to the spotlight.
But this was the first time I’d seen her in anything, and she definitely has presence. Off-screen, the 36-year-old actress has an enviable wardrobe that’s equally hard to ignore. So naturally, I had to do a deep dive into her best looks to date.

Earlier that day, she was the antithesis of the feminine rom com aesthetic, dressed in sharp tailoring from Tom Ford. She styled the pinstriped tuxedo-style shirt with slim-fit black pants and a leather belt.

I’ve never loved a barn jacket outfit as much as I love Monica’s. She styled the tonal look from Ferragamo’s Resort 2027 collection with the brand’s Cara handbag and Gancini heels.

For the 2025 Met Gala, Monica wore a custom Dior Bar jacket and voluminous black tulle skirt with a matching canotier hat and Bvlgari jewellery. The theme was ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’.

The actress was perfection in a shimmering figure-hugging Dolce & Gabbana gown at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in March 2025. Metallic dresses were clearly the look of the night and Monica’s was my favourite.

Monica wore a custom Dior gown to the 2025 Oscars, where she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for A Complete Unknown. The dress received mixed reviews from style insiders, but I think she looked stunning, completing the look with jewellery by Bvlgari.

She also wore custom Dior and Bvlgari jewellery to attend the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA, but this look landed much better. The plunging red dress was sleek but sophisticated and fitted to perfection.

In February 2025, Monica proved she can do laid-back chic just as expertly as red carpet style in a matching set by Loewe. The balloon-hem utility jacket and cropped trousers were both from the brand’s Resort 2025 collection.

In December 2024, she dazzled in Armani Privé at the LA premiere. The floor-sweeping gown featured intricate crystal beaded embroidery and daring side cut-outs.
