Vogue Japan isn’t the only edition of Vogue from around the globe that has completely fallen off our radar of late. The magazine is a shadow of its former self, and the last time the publication truly commanded our attention (for all the wrong reasons) was when Ariana Grande was a cover star back in March. The Condé Nast-owned title now falls under the tutelage of Kazumi Asamura Hayashi (who replaced Tiffany Godoy in January). Next up on the cover of Vogue Japan is Masami Nagasawa, who fronts the September 2026 issue of the magazine. Shot by Lukas Wassmann, the Japanese actress poses on a rooftop in the middle of New York City, dressed by stylist Helena Tejedor in Coperni and jewelry from Tiffany & Co.
